I will make this short and sweet: this gun is amazing. It's small enough to fit in your pocket (with a dart loaded!), it has amazing range, it's comfortable to cock and fire. For under $5, you absolutely cannot beat it. This gun shoots every single Nerf dart I put in it, including the streamline clip system darts that normally won't work in these type of guns. It even shoots other branded darts like Buzz Bee.

I have tested the ranges on most of Nerf's lineup, and this gun is an amazing performer. It shoots farther than any other Nerf gun I've tested! My measurements are around 40 feet shooting it at a level distance. Most Nerf guns shoot about 25 feet, if that gives you an idea of how good this gun is. It even stings when you hit someone due to the power behind the dart!

My only complaint is that the darts sometimes get a little caught on a ridge inside the barrel when loading. The ridge basically makes the barrel really tight and snug towards the back of the gun, undoubtedly resulting in more power. Sometimes you have to twist the dart to get it to go all the way back into the barrel. Definitely not a deal breaker, and not a big enough deal to take off a star.

If you want a gun that outperforms even the Nerf sniper rifles, then buy the Jolt. It's small enough to fit in your pocket, shoots all types of darts, and is unbelievably cheap for the performance. Hasbro did it right with this gun: it's in a league of its own. Office Nerf wars will never be the same. Just buy it.
